East End Tee

I have three of these shirts and I love the softness and quality. They are a nice thickness for canadian spring/summer, and I layered during the winter months too. I specifically was looking for tops that I could wear as maternity shirts as my bump grew and then use as an easy breastfeeding top. The side slit has made this a great shirt for that and looks great with leggings. I got a Large (pre pregnancy size 39 bust and 42 hip) and it has been roomy throughout pregnancy with the bump.

I really like this top. It's a cute boho look paired with drapey, breezy wide-leg pants and some stacked bead necklaces, it's sexy and modern with a skinny jean and ankle boot, and I also like it for lounging with a pair of tights. The high side slits are a little thrilling, and elevate the shirt from being a standard, albeit luxury, classic tee. The fabric is thicker than I expected - very sturdy feeling - and it has less stretch than I thought, but it's soft and comfortable. The natural fibres are really going to make this comfortable in the summertime. I've washed it once so far and haven't experienced any quality issues with the fabric - no shrinkage, no distortion, no colour loss. Overall, it's a great choice for bringing your everyday style to the next level.
